Initially, Cura were recommended to Concept by another Cura client and Jordan Ross was the designated Cura contact. However, due to the unprecedented growth of the company, it quickly became apparent that extra support was required and Tilley Bradford now oversees the day to day bookkeeping, payroll, cashflow management and VAT (including EC sales).
Jordan continues to provide management information (analysing gross margin, break even point and key costs) on a monthly basis to the directors.
Tilley comments,
"I could not have been made to feel more welcome here at Concept - they are so approachable and we can have a laugh. But I also know that they are accepting of advice and new processes - which is really important."
"You've got to remember - John (Yearn) and I started Concept in a garage in 2018! We have expanded into offices twice and this snowballing meant a backlog of accounts issues that we were not equipped to cope with. When Cura came in and introduced better ways of accounting it freed up our time and definitely made things easier.
The best way of describing our relationship is that we refer to 'us' - not Concept or Cura. They - Jordan and Tilley - are really committed to our business, not just crunching numbers - which is something we have not had from previous accountancy firms."
