Last week, we were proud to host the second Cura Accounting X Seriun Netwalking event of the year, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be!
The walk was led by the amazing Sunnywood Project, who took us on a scenic and uplifting walk through some truly beautiful landscapes around the Burnley area. With nature as our backdrop, we walked not just for wellness and to make new business connections, but for two incredible local causes: Bury Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community. Both organisations are doing vital work to support individuals and families in our communities, and it was a privilege to raise awareness and funds on their behalf.
The turnout was brilliant, with a mix of professionals joining us, such as business owners to new startups, all brought together by a shared desire to network, support charity, and escape the office for a breath of fresh air. The weather was perfect, and the route carefully chosen by Sunnywood was both energising and restorative, and the conversations flowed easily as we made our way along the trail.
What makes Netwalking so unique is its blend of physical activity, mental clarity, and business networking. It's not often you get to build professional relationships in such a relaxed, natural environment, and that’s exactly why we love it. Whether you're talking business or simply sharing a laugh over the views, there’s something incredibly powerful about networking outdoors.
We’re also excited to announce that our next Netwalking event will take place on Friday 19th September, in Bury! If you missed this one, we’d love to see you there. Expect great company, purposeful walking, charitable support, and a chance to step away from the desk and into the fresh air.
Tickets are available now, don’t miss your chance to walk, network, and give back.
