We were delighted to host the third Cura Accounting X Seriun Netwalking event of 2025, and what a brilliant day it was!
This time, our walk took us to Bury, starting and finishing at Burrs Country Park, with a well-earned lunch stop at the much-loved Owd Betts. Once again, the incredible Sunnywood Project led the way, guiding us through stunning scenery and creating the perfect backdrop for connection, conversation, and fresh air.
As always, our Netwalk wasn’t just about wellness and networking, it was also about supporting two fantastic local causes: Bury Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community. Both charities play such an important role in our region, and we were proud to raise awareness and funds on their behalf.
The turnout was fantastic, with a real mix of professionals joining us, all united by a shared interest in building relationships in a relaxed, outdoor setting. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the conversations flowed easily, and the route struck the perfect balance between refreshing challenge and energising reward.
That’s what makes Netwalking so special: it’s more than just networking. It’s a chance to step away from the desk, enjoy nature, find clarity, and form meaningful connections in an environment that’s both inspiring and restorative.
We’d like to thank everyone who joined us in Bury and made this event such a success. If you missed it, don’t worry – more Netwalking events are on the horizon, and we’d love to see you at the next one.
