Cura NetWalking!
How great it was to get out and about again!
We managed to re-organise (to make Covid 19 compliant) our extremely popular NetWalking with a lovely walk from the centre of Bury, up through Burrs Country Park, to Summerseat and back down through Greenmount and into Bury again - approximately 8.75 miles. We were - on the whole - lucky with the weather and also fortunate to have our friendly guide, Pedro as walk leader.
Attending the walk were professionals from mostly the financial sector including Rachael Lee (Ideal Corporate Solutions), James Fish (Cowgills), Chris Sedgwick (Sedgwick Wealth Management), Laura Duggan (R&D Tax Solutions), Julian Beressi (Kay Johnson Gee), Laura Brogden (Fact 3), Ben Jones (Haworths Financial Services), Ian Hayes (Munro Greenhalgh Insurance Brokers) and members from the team at Cura.
We also treat ourselves to a sumptuous Italian lunch at The Village Bistro, Greenmount - thanks to Clare and Brandon for the lovely food and service!
NetWalking - especially during these restrictive times - is a really great way of mixing with like minded businesses. Everyone is tired of zoom meetings and being cramped in a conference room at 7am is no substitute for getting fresh air and meeting new people whilst sampling the countryside close to our doors.
The next NetWalking event is being organised - watch this space!
