On Friday, we came together for a charity Netwalk in support of Bury Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community, two outstanding charities that bring communities together.
Our route took us across the beautiful Holcombe Moors, a setting that never fails to impress. The views were stunning and conversations flowed naturally, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. Whether people were deep in discussion or simply taking in the scenery, the walk offered the perfect balance of connection and reflection, highlighting why Netwalks are such a meaningful way to meet people and support a cause.
After the walk, we headed to the Holcombe Tap for a well-earned lunch. The food was excellent and the warm atmosphere provided a great opportunity to relax and enjoy time together off the trail.
From there, we continued to the Hare and Hounds for the raffle and a refreshing drink. The raffle was well received with some fantastic prizes, and all proceeds went directly to Bury Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community.
Overall, it was a wonderful Friday filled with community spirit, beautiful scenery, good food, and great company. Most importantly, we were able to raise funds and awareness for two causes that truly make a difference.
Thank you to everyone who joined, donated, or supported in any way.
