We Smashed It – Bury Hospice's Dragon Boat Race 2025

What a weekend! Team Cura Crew hit the water and gave it everything at the Bury Hospice Dragon Boat Race, and we’re thrilled to say we absolutely smashed our fundraising target of £1,000!

Taking part in the event was a brilliant team challenge but it was also a chance to support a cause close to many hearts in our community. The atmosphere was fantastic, the competition was fierce and the teamwork on display (both in the boat and off it) made us proud to be part of something so special.

A huge thank you goes out to every member of the Cura Accounting team who took part. From paddling with power to bringing the energy and encouragement, it was a true team effort. You all showed incredible spirit and determination from start to finish.

We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us through donations, messages and cheers from the sidelines. Your generosity helped us surpass our fundraising goal, and every single contribution will go towards making a difference.
